ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ

The James Dale & Co Scholarship is open to all year 1 FdSc and year 2 BSc students studying on all Agriculture and Agriculture route degree courses at ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ, and who are looking for a career in the Dairy sector.

If awarded the successful recipient will receive:

• A significant contribution towards their education of £2,000
• Employment with James Dale & Co during their placement year
• Subject to a review at the end of placement with James Dale & Co there may be an opportunity of further funding in the scholar’s final academic year

The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2026 and the remaining balance in May 2026.

This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview. The decision of the James Dale & Co Scholarship panel is FINAL. 

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview with James Dale & Co between  Wednesday 19 November and Wednesday 3 December 2025

The James Dale & Co Scholarship includes a placement, therefore you must submit your application via the Student Dashboard placement pages.  Paper copies will not be accepted. 

Deadline for Submission of Application: 12pm Noon Monday 17 November 2025

Please note: you may only apply for a maximum of three placement based scholarships.
