ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ

Having joined ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ Adams in August 2020 as University Secretary and General Counsel, my role covers a number of areas of responsibility including (but not limited to) the following:

• Leading service areas of the University including Governance, Legal and Compliance and strategic projects.
• General Counsel to the Board of Governors and University Executive Team.
• Developing strategies, policies and procedures across the University and in particular in the service areas I lead.
• Secretary to the Board of Governors

Prior to this role, I have over 20 years’ experience in the legal sector, including in governance and leadership, having worked for the NFU legal team for over 10 years, in private practice and for the last 10 years in the HE sector, leading the legal departments at ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ Adams and also Birmingham City University. I am a qualified solicitor and have experience over a wide range of legal disciplines.
