David graduated from ÁÕÀÅÊÓƵ Adams in 2001 with a degree in Agriculture with Land & Farm Management (LFM), after previously studying History at the University of Edinburgh. Having enjoyed a successful career spanning most sectors of the supply chain, literally from field to fork, David launched his own consultancy in 2022 - specialising in the leadership and delivery of collaborative projects. As a Professional Member of the Institute of Agricultural Management, he works with an array of clients ranging from charities and NGOs to large-scale food manufacturers, agri-tech start-ups and even the HA School of Sustainable Food & Farming.
Passionate about all things agricultural, he believes in a pragmatic approach to tackling the broader food & farming agenda – one that balances sustainability with financial viability. He relishes the opportunity of working with the Trust in supporting the next generation of professional talent at a time where the strategic role of food provision within society is more pertinent than ever before.
Returning to Shropshire in 2012, David has a young family and enjoys outdoor activities including shooting and cycling.
